Job summary

Blue View Builder seeks a VP of Capital Markets/Raising to lead fundraising, investor relations, and deployment of capital into development projects in a growth-focused fund. You will architect strategies, manage the investor lifecycle, and collaborate with legal and internal teams on fund documents.

The role requires a track record raising institutional capital, deep underwriting knowledge of development projects, and a strong network of LPs and intermediaries.

Qualifications

• 7-12+ years in private equity/real estate private equity or fund management with a track record of raising institutional capital.
• Strong network of institutional investors, family offices, and intermediaries relevant to development capital.
• Deep understanding of development project underwriting, construction risk, entitlement processes, and capital structures (equity, mezzanine, preferred equity).
• Experience with fund accounting, capital calls, distributions, and LP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of capital raising for the fund, including structuring, marketing, and closing commitments from institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals.
• Develop and execute fundraising strategies and investor materials.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential limited partners and manage the investor lifecycle from outreach through due diligence and reporting.
• Represent the fund in investor meetings, roadshows, and presentations; articulate the fund's investment thesis and risk/return profile.
• Coordinate with legal counsel, placement agents, and internal teams on fund documentation and closing processes.
• Monitor and report on capital commitments, distributions, and LP reporting to ensure fund terms compliance.
