Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled software engineer to drive the Prime Brokerage Technology platform. You will own data processing components (Java/Kotlin) and champion automated testing within an Agile, CI/CD-focused team.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, lead design discussions, and help transform legacy components into cloud-native microservices for stability and scalability.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant Apps Development or systems analysis experience.
• Experience delivering software iteratively using Agile approaches.
• Strong background in quality-led engineering: test automation, CI/CD, microservices, containerized deployment, and cloud engineering.
• Ability to own and drive delivery to business stakeholders.
• Comfort engaging with product owners to understand requirements and explore solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and own cash and fixed-income data processing components (Java/Kotlin) within the Prime Brokerage Technology platform.
• Champion developer-led automated testing as a core engineering practice.
• Work within an Agile team with a focus on CI/CD.
• Participate in design, planning, and estimation discussions.
• Collaborate with management teams to ensure integration of functions and identify enhancements.
