- 15+ years of progressive leadership in strategic sourcing, procurement or related executive roles.
- Experience in strategic sourcing for major equipment, construction, renewable generation, and insurance.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a large matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
- Set strategic vision, priorities, and targets for Power Purchasing, Transmission growth procurement, and Insurance.
- Oversee sourcing, negotiations, award recommendations, and contract strategies for complex needs.
- Provide executive oversight for Avangrid’s insurance strategy, risk financing, renewals and claims.
- Champion continuous improvement, data‑driven decisions, and governance reporting.
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team of procurement and insurance professionals.
