Job summary

SimCorp seeks a Head of Optimization to define the strategic direction of our optimization product portfolio, including Axioma Portfolio Optimizer, within SimCorp ONE. You will shape the vision and multi-year roadmap for enterprise investment management, driving execution across teams and embedding optimization across the platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in product management and leadership for enterprise investment management or financial services platforms.
• Deep subject matter expertise in portfolio optimization, portfolio construction and risk analytics, including factor risk models, constraint-based optimization and rebalancing workflows.
• Strong understanding of institutional asset management and asset owner workflows across asset classes (equities, fixed income, multi-asset).
• Experience leading multi-product teams and launching complex products with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for optimization products aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Lead product management across multiple teams from development to launch and optimization.
• Embed optimizer into SimCorp ONE, coordinating with platform, data, risk, AI and front-office teams.
• Build trusted relationships with senior clients and industry forums to inform priorities and demonstrate impact.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing product management team and collaborate with senior leadership.
