M+R is seeking an experienced Vice President, People and Culture to lead enterprise-wide talent strategy and workforce planning. Reporting to the Chief People and Culture Officer, you will oversee talent acquisition, staffing operations, leadership development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness to support our nonprofit clients and mission.

• 15+ years of progressive HR/People experience.
• 10+ years in leadership roles guiding organizations.
• Experience building enterprise-wide People strategies.
• Advising senior leaders on talent, culture and organization.
• Experience in nonprofit, advocacy, or professional services sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead an integrated, enterprise-wide talent strategy aligned with mission and priorities.
• Assess current and future talent requirements; develop attraction, retention, and deployment plans.
• Establish talent priorities, workforce plans, and measurable goals.
• Build leadership pipelines including succession planning.
• Lead staffing, recruiting, and talent development teams.
• Serve as strategic advisor to senior leaders on people and culture.
• Champion equity, inclusion, belonging, and psychological safety.
• Evaluate and evolve talent practices and technology.
