Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Head of Risk and Control Product in Transaction Banking to own and oversee risk-related payment platforms. You will lead strategy, governance, and delivery across Credit Risk Management, AML, Sanctions and Fraud, aligning with first- and second-line risk partners, engineering and operations.

You will build and mentor a high-performing product team, translate regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities, and drive improvements through data-driven insights

Qualifications

• Deep payments and risk expertise across domestic and cross-border payments.
• Track record of end-to-end product ownership of risk platforms or capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex risk topics to senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Credit Risk Management, AML, Sanctions and Fraud.
• Maintain governance, escalation, and independent risk oversight.
• Translate risk policies and workflows into actionable product requirements across geographies and modalities.
• Shape capabilities for credit exposure, monitoring, sanctions screening and fraud prevention.
• Lead delivery from concept to launch across global cross-functional teams.
• Define KPIs for control effectiveness and platform performance.
