Job summary

Synchrony seeks a senior PAM Product Owner to lead the strategic evolution of the enterprise Privileged Access Management program. You will own the product roadmap, drive rollout and adoption of Delinea solutions to manage credential lifecycle, session governance, and integrations across ITSM, SIEM/SOAR, aligning to Zero Trust and Just-in-Time access policies.

You will oversee PAM analysts, promote best practices, and define governance workflows to improve audit readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with IAM and security controls.
• Experience delivering cross-functional technology initiatives across multiple workstreams.
• Proven ability to cultivate partnerships with internal/external stakeholders.
• Leadership through mentoring, roadmaps, and team maturity.
• Agile/Scrum execution experience and backlog management.
• Hands-on with ITSM platforms and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for enterprise PAM.
• Lead as Product Owner for Delinea capabilities and secure privileged access across infra, databases, cloud, apps.
• Oversee Privileged Access Analysts and drive PAM program maturity.
• Drive adoption of PAM best practices: vaulting, rotation, least privilege, strong auth, break-glass governance.
• Implement and expand privileged access lifecycle controls across environments.
• Enable Zero Trust-aligned privileged access patterns including JIT and time-bound elevation.
• Oversee PAM capabilities: monitoring, session recording, analytics.
• Define risk-tiered policies and governance workflows for accountability.
• Lead PAM integration with ITSM and security tooling; automate incident/change workflows.
• Build partnerships with IAM governance bodies, Security Operations, and Audit teams.
• Prioritize remediation work and report outcomes to senior stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment with minimal leadership guidance.
• Perform other duties/special projects as assigned
