Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a PAM Product Owner to lead the strategic evolution of the enterprise Privileged Access Management program. You will own the product roadmap, drive rollout of Delinea capabilities, and partner with IT, security, and business stakeholders to improve credential lifecycle management and auditing.

You will manage analysts, promote best practices, and implement JIT access and policy-based controls across infrastructure, cloud, and applications.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity with IAM/PAM and related controls.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive roadmaps.
• Strong partnership with internal/external stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year PAM strategy and roadmap aligned to risk reduction.
• Serve as Product Owner for Delinea capabilities across environments.
• Lead Privileged Access Analysts and oversee PAM initiatives.
• Drive PAM best practices: rotation, strong auth, break-glass governance.
• Implement lifecycle controls across diverse environments.
• Enable Zero Trust-aligned privileged access and JIT elevation.
• Oversee monitoring, session recording, and analytics.
• Define risk-based policies and governance workflows.
• Integrate PAM with ITSM and security tooling.
• Build partnerships with IAM governance, Security, Audit and IT teams.
• Prioritize remediation based on risk; report outcomes to leadership.
