Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior operations leader to run the scaling MEP platform across divisions. This remote role involves ~50% travel and requires VP or above experience within an MEP contractor/construction firm.

You will diagnose operations, standardize processes across multi-site sites, and partner with local leaders to raise performance. Midwest residency is preferred, with PE-backed growth and executive visibility.

Qualifications

• Must have VP or above level experience within an MEP contractor/construction firm.
• Extensive multi-site operations leadership in HVAC, mechanical, MEP, or skilled-trades/field-services.
• Experience integrating and standardizing acquired or multi-location businesses.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving, private equity-backed, high-growth environment.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and ability to influence operators without direct authority.
• Willingness to travel ~50%; must reside in the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to operations leader across all divisions, partnering with division and operating-company leaders.
• Diagnose operational challenges, identify root causes, and lead practical, lasting fixes.
• Prioritize the divisions and locations with the greatest opportunity for improvement.
• Standardize and strengthen operating processes across a multi-site footprint.
• Bring structure and operational discipline to recently acquired businesses.
• Operate strategically while staying hands-on and close to the field.
