Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced senior operations leader to oversee a Midwest, private equity-backed MEP platform. You will diagnose root causes across divisions, drive improvements, and set standard operating processes for a scalable, multi-site operation.

This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership in HVAC/mechanical trades. You will report to executive leadership, have CEO-level visibility, and influence across the organization while traveling up to 50% and residing in the

Qualifications

Must have VP or above level experience within an MEP contractor/construction firm.
Extensive multi-site operations leadership in HVAC, mechanical, MEP, or skilled-trades/field-services businesses.
Experience integrating and standardizing acquired or multi-location businesses.

Responsibilities

Serve as the go-to operations leader across all divisions, partnering with division and operating-company leaders.
Diagnose operational challenges, identify root causes, and lead practical fixes.
Prioritize divisions/locations with greatest opportunity for improvement.
Standardize and strengthen operating processes across a multi-site footprint.
Travel ~50% and lead changes with local leaders.
