Job summary

GardenCore, a leading U.S. manufacturer of lawn and garden consumables, seeks a VP of Transformation to run the transformation office and deliver measurable cost and EBITDA improvements across the plant and distribution network.

Located in Peachtree Corners, GA, the role combines hands-on plant floor and boardroom leadership, driving initiative pipelines, capital decisions, and special projects while supporting M&A integration and strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of leadership experience, including time at a top-tier management or operations consulting firm, followed by manufacturing/distribution leadership.
• Proven track record delivering measurable operational cost savings and performance improvements.
• Experience in private equity-backed environments, transformation programs, M&A integration, or value creation initiatives is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Value Creation PMO: pipeline, business cases, cadence, dashboards, savings validation.
• Lead site-level Opex improvement across 58 facilities, focusing on labor, throughput, uptime, yields and costs.
• Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives including post-carve-out builds and network footprint optimization.
• Partner with corporate development and integration teams to build 100-day playbooks and capture synergies.
• Build capability and act as a force multiplier for CEO, GMs, and leadership teams.
