Job summary

Consumer Cellular seeks a Vice President, Transformation and SRE to lead reliability strategy, governance, and operational execution across Product and Technology. The role drives availability, performance, and recoverability for customer-facing services, reducing toil through automation and building incident readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership including SRE/production or platform engineering.
• Experience leading teams that operate large, high-availability production environments.
• Fluency with SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, incident management, blameless postmortems, and problem management.
• Experience establishing reliability governance including production readiness standards, change/release controls, risk assessment, and disaster recovery testing.
• Strong knowledge of modern software engineering practices, cloud architecture, automation, observability, and debt management.
• Proven ability to lead large teams with scalable org structures and clear accountability.
• Excellent communication and executive presence for board-level audiences.
• Experience with resilience engineering techniques and multi-region/multi-zone architectures.
