Job summary

Lincoln Financial Group in Radnor, PA is seeking a visionary VP, Head of Technology for Group Protection to lead technology transformation, modernization, and scalable, customer-centric solutions. You will shape a multi-year roadmap, drive AI-enabled innovations, and partner with senior leaders to deliver competitive services in a regulated industry.

You will manage a high-performing team of engineers, influence executive-level decisions, and collaborate across business units to maximize growth

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in technology and architecture, including executive level and/or board presentations and detailed business case development.
• Proven success leading large-scale transformation initiatives in a service-based environment.
• Deep expertise in Group Benefits, insurance, financial services or related industry, with strong regulatory and customer needs understanding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on leadership with large-scale transformations of culture and technology; AWS cloud transformation and AI experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnership: Align technology initiatives with business strategy and growth objectives.
• Technology Roadmap Ownership: Architect and implement a multi-year roadmap focused on modernization, AI, and sector-specific software solutions.
• Leadership & Team Development: Inspire and guide a team of engineers and technical leads.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of innovation and improved service delivery.
• Vendor Management: Oversee strategic vendor relationships and regulatory alignment.
• Market Awareness: Translate industry insights into actionable growth strategies.
