SolSearch Energy seeks a VP of Development to lead the solar and storage team in New York. You will shepherd projects from acquisition through NTP and into construction, coordinating with the transactions team, engineering and EPC partners to keep on budget and schedule.

This role requires building scalable development processes, managing the development budget, and presenting to the investment committee, while mentoring a growing team across NY, MD and IL.

Competenze

• Experience leading a development team in solar or storage projects.
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to manage budgets and present to investment committees.

Mansioni

• Review projects with transactions team before they close, identify gaps and weigh them against the deal.
• After closing, resolve site control, title, permitting, interconnection and design issues and complete any post-closing obligations.
• Get projects to NTP on budget and on schedule, working closely with engineering and EPC partners so designs are ready for construction.
• Support construction loan and tax equity diligence.
• Set the stage gates, QA/QC, project tracking and economic review the team works to.
• Manage the development budget and present projects to the investment committee.
• Lead and develop the team, and help shape hiring as it grows.
