Job summary

Pura is seeking a VP of Software Engineering to lead the Mobile App, Cloud/Backend, and Connected Platform teams. You will own the software stack that links every smart diffuser to the Pura app in real time—from firmware-adjacent connectivity through cloud services to the customer experience.

You will drive scalability, security, and reliability as millions of devices come online, recruit top engineers, and shape multi-year roadmaps with Product and Executive teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive software leadership experience, ideally in consumer mobile apps and cloud-connected IoT.
• Proven ability to scale cloud infrastructure and mobile applications to millions of users.
• Strong knowledge of mobile development, APIs, and device connectivity.
• Experience embedding security and data privacy into products.
• Budgeting and headcount planning in fast-growing companies.
