Role Overview:

As a leader of senior sales professionals, your main responsibility will be driving new business development by supporting and guiding your team to identify and pursue opportunities, expanding our customer base and increasing revenue. You will oversee prospecting, nurturing leads, closing deals, and strategizing with your team to ensure success. This role offers significant autonomy in managing and coaching your team to excel in new business acquisition.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and mentor senior sales professionals in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  2. Oversee sales efforts related to new client acquisition and manage performance.
  3. Remove obstacles to ensure successful sales outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions.
  5. Expand professional networks and explore untapped markets.
  6. Guide the team in executing new business strategies.
  7. Provide feedback to improve team performance and adherence to company guidelines.
  8. Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on client acquisition.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience selling professional IT or software services.
  • Strong experience in selling technology consulting and services, especially as a hunter of new logos.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing sales professionals.
  • Deep industry knowledge, including key players, strategies, and business models.
  • Understanding of sub-verticals, needs, challenges, and trends in technology consulting.
  • Demonstrated strategic, creative, and analytical sales approach.
  • Focus on initiating and building client relationships.
  • Experience in a direct competitor is a plus.
