We’re looking for a pragmatic, growth-minded leader with a proven track record of success in our industry, to lead our US region to success. As the VP of Sales, you’d have end to end ownership for managing the P&L, shaping the strategy and leading the team. You’d report into our President, North America. You are tasked with managing and growing a team of world-class sales and client solution leaders centered around growing and retaining quality customers, while upselling existing clients. You will own the GTM strategy for USA, and ultimately the responsibility of Business Development, Sales, and Client Solutions. This way, you are empowered with the end-to-end client lifecycle and P&L.

Build a scalable Ocaen, Air product structure for Beeontrade. With the immediate focus on existing and new markets in terms of procurement, carrier partnerships, pricing, go-to-market and direction to the commercial organization. As the head of ocean/air freight for US you will manage one of the largest P&Ls in the company product.

You Will

Manage a very sizeable P&L and team who will develop and maintain relations with air carrier partners including global and regional partners

Manage a team who will design, build and price our Air marketplace coverage

Manage a large diverse team of leaders of leaders

Manage a team who will execute Global Carrier Strategy and Development on Regional Trade Carrier Strategy

Procure competitive market rates, design products and manage yield

Be responsible for responding to tenders and RFQs to secure regional and global customers through your team

Manage a team of Market experts in Ocean/Air Freight

Actively support Beeontrade’s sales and marketing organization with market information, sales leads and joint sales visit

Educate our teams with trade specific market knowledge and trade idiosyncrasies

Scale ocean and air freight for the biggest region in Beeontrade

Own air growth in the Americas by leading a team of regional Sales and Pricing team to drive business development throughout the region.

Administer overall pricing strategy for all fixed and spot business, tracking metrics such as conversion and take rate.

Design scalable air freight solutions to support unique verticals and segments.

Develop a US Export procurement strategy by negotiating contracts, fixed allocations and potentially BSA’s, monitoring utilization of capacity.

Administer quality management with US Export carriers driving on-time performance and milestone timeliness.

Own take rate by managing air freight cost and pricing inputs. You are empowered to drive yields by leveraging the right carriers, routings and consolidation strategies.

Be the executive-level POC for all North American airline relationships.

Provide commercial support to our largest global accounts, acting as an executive sponsor

Partner with our sales organization on global, strategic RFQ’s by providing pricing strategy and commercial support.

End-to-end perspective; leading the design and execution of Beeontrade’s marketing strategy, development of Beeontrade’s product marketing roadmap through a full lifecycle implementation program.

Drive weekly cross-functional and sales team meetings to provide project updates alongside key sales & CST metrics.

Regularly communicate with the Sales Executive and pricing Team to discuss strengths, opportunities, and emerging trends in business.

Create and deploy marketing plans, informed by data, to support overall revenue-driving Beeontrade Product strategies.

Plans and budget regional financial targets. Responsible for ensuring results are achieved against targets.

Contributes as a key member to our sales and solutions team in winning key strategic accounts.

Grows the company’s global forwarding and 3PL business/services in an assigned territory, in accordance with corporate objectives (i.e. revenue & profit targets, product growth initiatives, etc.).

Monitor the success and measure the results of the team’s efforts including tracking sales and revenue, monitoring ocean/air/road/3pl product lines, sales performance, and ensuring online products and campaigns are highly searchable and converting.

Grows the company’s global forwarding and 3PL business/services in an assigned territory, in accordance with corporate objectives (i.e. revenue & profit targets, product growth initiatives, etc.).

Monitor the success and measure the results of the team’s efforts including tracking sales and revenue, monitoring ocean/air/road/3pl product lines, sales performance, and ensuring online products and campaigns are highly searchable and converting.

What You’ll Need

10+ years of prior air Freight experience at a top freight forwarder or carrier or 15+ years of supply chain experience and a BA/BS Degree;

Strategic vision and ground floor execution;

Bias to Action, Process, Structure and Data;

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;

An obsession with client happiness. You succeed when they succeed;

Ability to travel locally, nationally and internationally;
