Job summary

Bankjoy is seeking a VP of System Engineering to own Release Management, QA, and DevOps, and to build the quality engineering framework that raises the bar across the engineering organization. This is a hands-on leadership role at a critical inflection point in Bankjoy's growth.

You will lead Release Management, a QA organization with a QA Lead and automation engineers, and a DevOps team including a Senior Platform Architect and DevOps Engineer, while dotted-lines to manual QA engineers across

Qualifications

10+ years of engineering experience with leadership roles.
Deep background in quality engineering and platform reliability.
Experience migrating automation across web and mobile environments.
Fintech, banking, or regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead three core engineering functions: Release Management, QA, and DevOps.
Define and enforce quality gates and automation-first practices across value streams.
Build and maintain a multi-platform automation framework for Angular, Swift, and Kotlin.
Partner with product and leadership on AI coding adoption and release coordination.
Ensure security, compliance, and uptime for regulated clients.
Own post-release retrospectives and governance to drive continuous improvement.
