Job summary

Crisil seeks a hands-on quality leader to shape how complex software is tested and shipped in a banking and payments setting. You will set the direction for testing and automation, build shared tooling, and act as a quality gatekeeper across environments with close collaboration to engineering, product, and business partners.

Qualifications

• Approximately a decade in IT, with 4–6 years building test automation hands-on.
• At least 3 years of actual development, ideally in Java.
• Experience delivering automation within an Agile Scrum setup.
• Comfortable operating in a distributed onshore/offshore global team.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction for testing and automation across the organisation.
• Create shared, reusable test frameworks and accelerators that other teams can run with.
• Steer the automation build-out and coach engineers toward stronger practices.
• Coordinate testing from business requirements through to defects and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Design test scenarios for banking/payments domains including ISO messages and settlement flows.
