Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Product to guide the School Admin Portfolio, including Finance/HR/ERP. You will lead a distributed team, shape market strategy, and drive the AI agenda to amplify K-12 domain expertise.

Expect extensive field activity with districts, conferences, and partnerships. You will report to the SVP and GM of the Tyler Schools Market, with responsibility for portfolio strategy, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration across sales,

Qualifications

• 15+ years in product management, including 10+ leading product managers.
• Proven people leadership with a record of promoting talent.
• Experience owning a portfolio of products rather than a single product.
• Market-facing track record with client/prospect meetings and advisory boards.
• Demonstrated AI leadership bringing AI to production in a commercial product.
• Background in enterprise or public sector software with regulatory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and develop a distributed product team across US and Manila.
• Grow product managers into portfolio owners with clear expectations and paths.
• Set high bar, coach, and invest in team growth; maintain client-facing culture.
• Represent the team upward and outward with an operating rhythm.
• Spend time with clients, speak at industry events, and lead advisory boards.
• Drive AI agenda: packaging, pricing, adoption metrics, and governance.
