Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Product to lead our School ERP portfolio.

You will hire and grow a distributed team of product managers and analysts, shape the market-facing strategy, and drive AI-enabled capabilities across finance, payroll, HR, and regulatory reporting. You will spend time with district clients and at industry events, guiding strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and the portfolio's overall growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in product management, including 10+ leading product managers.
• Proven people leadership with hiring, development, and retention of talent.
• Experience owning a portfolio of products or modules rather than a single product.
• Market-facing track record: client meetings, conferences, and advisory management.
• Demonstrated AI leadership with production-grade product impact.
• Experience in enterprise or public sector software with regulatory awareness.
• Willingness to travel regularly to client sites and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and develop a distributed product team across regions.
• Represent the portfolio in client meetings, conferences, and advisory boards.
• Drive the AI agenda and integrate it into product strategy and roadmap.
• Own product strategy across finance, payroll, HR, and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality leadership on releases and roadmap.
• Guide partnerships, acquisitions, and market strategy.
