Utilities One is seeking a Vice President of Power Engineering to lead executive-level efforts across Distribution, Substation, and Transmission. The role calls for setting strategic direction, expanding service offerings, and ensuring engineering excellence across projects and teams in a fast-paced infrastructure environment.

The position requires strong leadership, deep engineering expertise, and a PE license where required, with 10+ years in power engineering and 7+ years in management.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or Business Administration preferred.
• PE license strongly preferred where necessary for assigned responsibilities.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in electric utility, power infrastructure, or related industries.
• 7+ years in engineering management or senior leadership across multiple teams or units.

Responsabilidades

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all engineering activities across Distribution, Substation, and Transmission lines.
• Develop and execute an engineering growth strategy aligned with company objectives and market opportunities.
• Establish scalable engineering structures, processes, and standards.
• Lead engineering managers, discipline leads, project engineers, designers, and support staff.
• Develop capabilities to support organic growth and expanded service offerings.
• Partner with leadership on long-term resource planning and investments.
• Oversee overhead and underground electrical distribution engineering and design.
• Ensure deliverables meet codes, safety requirements, and schedules.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, protection and control, and construction teams.
• Establish performance metrics and management reporting.
