Job summary

Utilities One is seeking a Vice President of Power Operations to lead the Power Delivery Services division in the United States. The role focuses on strategic leadership, operational performance, and profitable growth across distribution, transmission, and substations.

The ideal candidate has extensive utility and contractor experience, is adept at managing large, multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering projects safely and within budget, while expanding market presence and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership in power delivery, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure services, including contractor-side experience.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, safety programs, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven track record in business development, client management, and growing multi-disciplinary service portfolios.
• Experience leading large, geographically distributed teams and managing P&L.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic vision and growth plans for Power Delivery Services.
• Oversee safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of power infrastructure projects.
• Establish policies and procedures for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead capital improvements and infrastructure project execution on time and on budget.
• Manage enterprise risk and business continuity for power delivery operations.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand market share.
• Build relationships with utilities, regulators, and private sector clients.
• Develop partnerships and subcontractor relationships to expand capabilities.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing for bids, proposals, and negotiations.
• Oversee division budget, CAPEX, and financial forecasting.
• Serve as executive point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through proactive communication.
