Job summary

Utilities One Group seeks an accomplished engineering leader to drive executive direction across distribution, substations, and transmission. You will shape growth, establish scalable organizational structures, and coordinate diverse teams to deliver safe, compliant infrastructure projects.

You will guide resource planning, investment priorities, and engineering standards while ensuring projects meet schedules and budgets. A PE license and extensive utility experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Master’s degree in Engineering Management or Business Administration preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred; required where necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all engineering activities across Distribution, Substation, and Transmission lines.
• Develop and execute an engineering growth strategy aligned with objectives and market opportunities.
• Establish scalable engineering structures, processes, and standards.
• Lead engineering managers, discipline leads, project engineers, designers, and support staff.
• Develop capabilities to support organic growth, new markets, and expanded services.
• Partner with executive leadership on long-term resource planning and investment priorities.
• Oversee design and engineering for overhead and underground electrical distribution infrastructure.
• Ensure deliverables meet utility design standards, codes, safety requirements, and schedules.
• Provide leadership for substation engineering and design and coordinate across civil, structural, electrical, and construction teams.
• Ensure projects stay within scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Establish performance metrics, dashboards, and management reporting.
