Job summary

ePac Flexible Packaging is seeking a high-velocity HR leader to scale a multi-site NA workforce and drive proactive partnering with Plant Directors. The role emphasizes rapid hiring playbooks, streamlined processes, and modern workforce strategy across U.S. and Canada.

You will own compliance, onboarding, training, and data-driven HR operations to support rapid site expansion and a distributed workforce, including remote holdings roles.

Qualifications

• Operator Mindset: Proven ability to manage complex changes in the plant footprint gem
• High-Volume Talent Strategy: Experience building a recruitment engine that can scale by 20%+ annually
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Rippling or similar tier-one HRIS/payroll platforms with a heavy emphasis on data analytics
• Communication: Ability to influence stakeholders from the plant floor to the boardroom.
• Relatable Engagement: Demonstrated ability to connect with, support, and advocate for employees at every level of the company, with a strong commitment to plant-level workers on the manufacturing floor.
• Compliance Mastery: In-depth knowledge of Federal, State, Provincial (Canada), and local employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Direct Coaching: provide SOPs, templates, and scripts for hiring, coaching, and exiting employees.
• Accountability Systems: Re-launch and enforce quarterly performance calibration to boost manager–employee engagement.
• Leadership Pipeline: Conduct 9-box assessments to identify ready-now and ready-future successors across sites.
• Multi-Department Onboarding & Training: Build structured onboarding and training programs for plant workers and remote holdings roles.
• Data Accountability & Infrastructure: Leverage HR tech (Rippling) to automate processes and improve efficiency across sites.
• Metric-Driven Decision Making: Track Revenue per Employee, Turnover Cost, and eNPS to flag risks and opportunities.
