Job summary

Dowbuilt is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead people operations, culture, and organizational effectiveness. Reporting to the CEO, you will translate business priorities into scalable HR strategies, policies, programs, and systems for growth and compliance.

You will partner with the executive team to align talent, total rewards, organizational design, and leader development across a 500-person organization, modernizing the function and driving outcomes with analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years in HR, people ops, or org leadership, with scaling experience.
• 7+ years leading HR or HR function and building high-performing teams.
• Experience partnering with CEO and executives in a 500-person company.
• Proven ability to design scalable people systems and programs across HR domains.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a company-wide HR strategy aligned to business goals.
• Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development.
• Scale HR operations, policies, and governance for efficiency and compliance.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, total rewards, and vendor relationships.
• Drive HR analytics, engagement and culture initiatives with data-driven insights.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Legal, and operations to align people programs with budgets.
