Tokio Marine HCC - Public Risk Group seeks a Vice President of Operations in Troy, MI (hybrid). You will partner with the BU President on strategic planning, budgeting, and policy matters while leading Actuarial, Compliance, and Marketing & Communications teams to ensure regulatory alignment and scalable operations.

You will drive cost management, process improvements, and executive-level reporting, shaping organizational structure and resource allocation for growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive operations/compliance/related experience.
• 8+ years of leadership experience with direct people management responsibility.
• Experience within insurance, financial services, or a regulated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with BU President on strategic planning, priorities, budgeting, and policy matters.
• Lead Actuarial, Compliance, and Marketing & Communications teams; set objectives and develop talent.
• Drive organizational effectiveness through cost management and process improvements.
• Develop and monitor policies and controls to ensure compliance.
• Prepare executive-level reports on performance, compliance, actuarial insights, and initiatives.
• Lead executive communications, including town halls and leadership meetings.
• Advise on organizational structure and resource allocation for scalability.
