Job summary

Optimal Balance Pharmacy is seeking an exceptional Vice President of Operations to lead national growth from Houston. This on-site executive role reports to ownership and oversees pharmacy operations, fulfillment, inventory, procurement and related functions.

You will build scalable structures, establish real-time scorecards and partner with Technology to automate processes. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in operations leadership, with experience scaling high-volume healthcare or pharmacy

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, with meaningful experience at VP/Senior Director/Director level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the operational leadership team across pharmacy operations, fulfillment, shipping, inventory, procurement and related functions.
• Build scalable operating structures with clearly defined responsibilities and accountability.
• Establish an operating scorecard, KPIs and dashboards for real-time visibility into performance.
• Drive improvements in throughput, turnaround time, labor efficiency and cost.
• Develop staffing models and workforce plans aligned with current and future demand.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methods.
• Partner with Technology/IT to automate processes and implement advanced workflow systems.
