Job summary

MasTec Renewables is hiring for a Vice‑President of Field Equipment Operations to oversee the strategic direction and operational excellence of the Renewables equipment program. This leadership role aligns equipment strategy with Market Sector goals, optimizing deployment, utilization, and lifecycle management of heavy and light assets.

The position leads vendor and financing relationships, drives ROI assessments, and guides procurement and technology adoption to keep the division cost-effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, construction management, finance, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree in finance preferred.
• CEM or CESP certifications preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in construction equipment management, owner-side.
• 5+ years in executive leadership at a construction company with revenues of $500MM+.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive equipment strategy aligned with Market Sector objectives and long-term business goals.
• Evaluate and report on ROI of equipment investments, utilization, and lifecycle strategies.
• Lead strategic initiatives to modernize and optimize the equipment fleet, including adoption of emerging technologies and sustainability practices.
• Oversee equipment records management and implement regular reviews to assess performance, compliance, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead contract negotiations and procurement strategies, including financing arrangements for major equipment.
