Job summary

The Stow Company in Holland, MI is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead manufacturing, fulfillment, engineering, maintenance, quality, and safety across the Holland facility, guiding ~220 team members toward safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and development.

Reporting to the COO, this role sets operating strategy, drives continuous improvement, champions accountability, and partners with finance and other functions to align priorities and execute capital initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, engineering, finance, or related field.
• MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• Significant progressive leadership experience in manufacturing and operations.
• Experience leading Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing operational budgets, productivity, cost, quality, safety, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for manufacturing and fulfillment operations at the Holland facility.
• Establish and execute operating plans that support company objectives and customer requirements.
• Review metrics and drive corrective actions to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Lead Lean manufacturing, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage the annual operating budget for the facility.
