Job summary

PetVet Care Centers seeks an accomplished Vice President of Operations to lead ~100 hospitals through six Regional Directors. This executive drives operating and financial results, advances the Care Experience, and translates enterprise strategy into disciplined regional execution while respecting clinical autonomy and local culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, operations, or finance; advanced degree preferred.
• Typically 12+ years of progressive operational leadership experience across multi-site operations.
• Experience leading senior multi-unit leaders and building accountability in a layered field org.
• Owner of a complex P&L with a track record of profitable growth and operational improvement.
• Experience establishing cadences, using performance data, and organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Lead six Regional Directors responsible for ~100 hospitals with compassion and accountability.
• Translate enterprise priorities into regional and hospital operating plans and metrics.
• Establish disciplined operating cadence with scorecards, reviews, and field visits.
• Create consistent standards while honoring local culture and clinical model.
• Drive care experience improvements and provider partnerships across regions.
• Own portfolio performance, budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly reviews.
• Develop growth plans, optimize resources, and recover underperforming areas.
• Build leadership depth and succession across regional and hospital levels.
• Partner with Center Support Team functions to operate as one organization.
