Job summary

SBM Offshore in San Francisco is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead the company\’s regional operations, sales, and customer relations in alignment with corporate directives. The role oversees multiple departments and drives performance across a broad portfolio of activities.

The successful candidate will direct policy execution, review forecast data, and participate in high-level strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field from a four-year college; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience supervising employees, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives.
• Directs and coordinates activities of departments, key customers, regions or divisions to attain goals and objectives.
• Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward goals.
• Confers with EVP or COO and other senior leaders to review achievements and discuss changes in goals or objectives.
• The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions.
• Serves as member of management committees on strategic initiatives.
• Significant travel will be required for this position.
