Job summary

Barclays Capital seeks a leader to develop, implement, and maintain an enterprise resilience strategy and incident management framework for critical services across the bank. You will ensure effective recovery planning, incident response, and testing to minimise customer and market impact.

Responsibilities

• Socialisation and implementation of the resilience strategy and underpinning framework across the firm (e.g. SMRs and delegates).
• Development and enhancement of the resilience, crisis and incident management framework to uplift recovery and response capabilities.
• Operational Recovery Planning and Security Incident Management planning standards and controls enhancement.
• Provide oversight to the business and technology recovery capability improvements, and uplifts to third-party recovery capabilities.
• Communication of the firm's resilience position through clear scorecards and dashboards for investment decisions.
• Enhancement of resilience, crisis management and incident response via regular testing to demonstrate recovery capability.
• Assurance that services and products are built resiliently via the change management process (NAPAs, DRAs, etc.).
• Continually stay abreast of resilience and regulator requirements and emerging threats.
• Mitigation of impact of incidents by identifying and resolving events that threaten services and operations.
• Execution of responses to reported incidents from various channels prioritized by impact.
• Documentation and analysis of past incidents to identify preventative actions and improvements.
