Position Summary:

Hotel Equities is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Accounts. This role is responsible for leading and managing relationships with key franchise accounts, specifically within major legacy hotel brands. The position involves close collaboration with brand marketing teams and real estate owners to develop successful marketing strategies and achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and proven experience in franchise brand marketing.

The VP of Marketing reports to: EVP, Marketing

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute marketing plans for key franchise accounts, aligning with brand standards and owner objectives.
  2. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with franchise brand marketing teams and real estate owners. Serve as the primary contact to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Marketing Planning & Execution: Lead the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, public relations, and promotions. Oversee budget management and performance tracking.
  4. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor marketing metrics, provide regular performance reports, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  5. Brand Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities adhere to franchise brand guidelines and standards. Stay updated on brand changes and communicate them to stakeholders.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with senior leaders and teams across revenue, sales, and operations to ensure alignment and impact.
  7. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals supporting strategic accounts.
  8. Market Research: Conduct research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for marketing enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, focusing on B2B and strategic account management.
  • Proven success in managing key accounts and reaching revenue targets.
  • Strong knowledge of major hotel brands, especially Marriott and Hilton.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and build consensus.
