Calbright College seeks a Vice President of Human Resources (Administrative Services Lead) to provide executive leadership for all HR operations, policy, labor relations, and risk management in a statewide online setting.

The role reports to the President & CEO and will drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, compliance, and HR systems modernization while fostering equity, belonging, and continuous improvement in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of: Principles and practices of public sector human resources administration.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including California Education Code, Title 5, ADA, Title IX.
• Knowledge of collective bargaining, labor relations, and grievance/disciplinary processes.
• Knowledge of HR information systems and basic workforce reporting tools.

Responsabilités

• Leads strategic HR leadership aligning with the College’s mission and priorities.
• Oversees workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and talent development to ensure equitable, compliant practices.
• Provides executive oversight of HR operations and modernization of HR systems,
• Ensures compliance with laws, policies, and reporting requirements.
• Partners with executive leadership to advance institutional priorities and manage risk.
