Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Full Stack Software Engineer, Java and Microservices, to join the ETF Technology Team in New York, NY. The role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and resilient full-stack solutions for enterprise ETF platforms and business workflows.

You will collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and infrastructure teams, driving modernization, API development, and cloud-native delivery with a strong emphasis on code quality and observability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering with Java/Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, databases, testing, and enterprise delivery.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• Strong ownership, collaboration, and delivery discipline in a VP-level tech role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable full-stack solutions for ETF technology platforms and workflows.
• Partner with product, architects, QA, and operations to ensure reliable outcomes.
• Drive modernization, security, and observability across services and deployments.
• Lead by example in code quality, reviews, and production stability.
