Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Full-Stack Developer for its Fund Accounting and Investor Solutions Platform in Westborough, MA. You will own end-to-end delivery of scalable, multi-tier applications, shaping architecture, API design, and production readiness.

You will lead frontend and backend development, collaborate with agile teams, and mentor peers while advancing AI-enabled capabilities and robust security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of professional full-stack development experience across backend and frontend.
• Proficiency with Java 17+, Spring/Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs.
• Frontend with Angular 14+ or React, modern UI patterns, state management.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end delivery of scalable, multi-tier applications including design, development, test automation, CI/CD, deployment, and production support with monitoring.
• Translate business needs into robust technical solutions; collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope and deliver high-quality software.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices; ensure performance, reliability, observability, and secure coding across services and UI layers.
• Drive platform resiliency with runbooks, on-call practices, logging/metrics/tracing, and rapid incident response.
• Champion engineering excellence: code reviews, static analysis, test coverage, and release discipline; mentor teammates.
• Integrate AI and emerging technologies (LLM APIs, prompt engineering) to enhance experiences and delivery.
• Contribute to tech strategy and roadmap; influence patterns for event-driven systems and distributed architectures.
