Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting or related field; eight (8) years of related experience, or mix of education/experience.
- Five years of progressive leadership experience in finance required.
- Experience working with or reporting to a GM, CEO or business unit head.
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective financial processes to support growth and expansion, collaborating with the GM and leadership.
- Manage short- and long-term capital planning for Grand Casino.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to optimize financial areas, working with GM and analysts.
- Analyze and consolidate financial data, prepare reports, and conduct cost analyses to optimize profit margins.
- Direct annual departmental budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Champion the adoption and utilization of the Workday ERP system, assessing ROI of technology investments.
