Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs is seeking a strategic VP of Finance to oversee financial management and analysis across the organization. You will work closely with the GM and senior leaders to drive profitability, capital planning, and enterprise-wide financial controls.

The role requires guiding budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP-compliant reporting, while mentoring Finance Associates and aligning financial strategy with Mille Lacs Band goals. A strong emphasis on collaboration and ethics is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in economics, finance, accounting or related field.
• Eight+ years of related experience with five years of progressive leadership in finance.
• Experience reporting to a GM, CEO or business-unit head.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial processes to support growth and expansion.
• Manage short- and long-term capital planning for the casino.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to optimize various financial areas.
• Consolidate financial data, prepare reports, and conduct cost analyses.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities for the department.
• Champion the adoption and utilization of the Workday ERP system.
