Job summary

Grand Casino Mille Lacs seeks a strategic VP of Finance to oversee financial management and analysis across the casino portfolio, reporting to the GM and collaborating with corporate functions. You will drive capital planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while strengthening internal controls and risk management.

You will partner with operations and central teams to optimize performance, mentor finance staff, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including GRA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting or related field.
• Eight (8) years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• Five years of progressive leadership experience in finance.
• Tribal gaming experience preferred.
• Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
• Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial processes to support growth and expansion.
• Manage short- and long-term capital planning for Grand Casino Mille Lacs.
• Provide financial insights and analysis with GM and analysts.
• Analyze and consolidate financial data; prepare reports and cost analyses.
• Champion Workday ERP adoption and assess ROI of tech investments.
• Direct budgeting and forecasting activities for the department.
• Maintain internal controls and GAAP compliance.
