Job summary

Prince George’s Community College (PGCC) invites applications for the Vice President for Financial Services and Operations. The VPFSO serves as the college’s chief fiscal and administrative officer, overseeing budget, finance, facilities, infrastructure, capital projects, campus police, and auxiliary services, reporting to the President.

The role requires a forward-looking leader with a track record in strategic finance, organizational change, and staff development, committed to student success

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related discipline required.
• Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in a senior management role.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience utilizing data and analytics to inform decision-making and policy.

Responsibilities

• Implement financial, accounting, and budget systems to promote financial stability and compliance.
• Establish a budget development process aligned with the college’s mission.
• Provide leadership across finance, facilities, infrastructure, and auxiliary services.
• Advise the president and senior management on financial planning, cash flow, and policy matters.
• Supervise and evaluate departmental staff and ensure effective board reporting.
• Oversee capital improvements and ERP data management initiatives.
