Job summary

WCG Clinical, Inc. seeks a VP of Business Development - Ethical Review (IRB and IBC) to lead national sales efforts across IRB/IBC lines.

You will drive revenue growth, shape sales strategy, and build a high-performing team, partnering with senior leaders to align initiatives with corporate goals. You will engage key clients and stakeholders, translate market insights into solutions, and ensure alignment with regulatory and life sciences needs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial leadership in pharma services, CROs, or life sciences.
• At least 5 years in a senior commercial role with direct reports.
• Proven ability to exceed revenue targets and scale sales teams.
• Deep understanding of the clinical trial ecosystem and regulatory lifecycle.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets across pharma, biotech, and CRO markets.
• Lead and scale a high-performing sales organization including senior leaders.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations to align GTM plans and client experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and partners.
• Monitor KPIs, pipeline, and forecasting; adjust strategies as needed.
• Drive data-driven solutions using market intelligence and client feedback.
