Job summary

Cambridgeport is seeking a visionary VP of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization across Randolph and Georgetown. You will own product and manufacturing engineering for HVAC custom units and CRAH platforms, drive R&D for next‑gen data center cooling, and align capabilities with aggressive growth goals.

The role requires hands‑on executive leadership, experience scaling engineering at multi-site facilities, and a track record with hyperscaler customers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience in HVAC manufacturing or hardware-intensive industrial manufacturing
• 7+ years in senior engineering leadership
• Experience scaling engineering org through high growth
• Direct product and manufacturing engineering leadership across multiple sites

Responsibilities

• Translate growth strategy into multi-year engineering roadmap for AHU and CRAH
• Set OKRs tied to revenue, margin, on-time delivery, and quality
• Own engineering budget and capital plan; optimize build-vs-buy decisions
• Lead engineering governance for programs with stage-gate reviews
• Oversee multi-site org structure and leadership development
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across engineering and manufacturing
