The Role

As Vice President – Engineering, you will:

Lead the engineering vision and execution for hyperscale and multi-tenant colocation projects across the North American portfolio
Oversee all mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural disciplines – ensuring designs meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and compliance
Set and evolve the company’s engineering standards, integrating next-gen technologies including liquid cooling, sustainability measures, and on-site generation solutions
Act as the senior technical authority, working with sales, operations, development, and strategy teams to ensure engineering solutions align with commercial and operational goals
Direct due diligence, utility coordination, and technical feasibility for new site acquisitions and greenfield developments
Own the basis of design, ensuring it remains a living standard that reflects market innovation and client demands
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team capable of delivering multiple complex projects in parallel
Partner with construction, commissioning, and supply chain leadership to ensure seamless project execution and operational readiness

The Person

You will bring:

15+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in data centre or mission-critical environments
Proven expertise in MEP systems, low-voltage BMS/EPMS, life safety, and IT/telecom integration; knowledge of civil and structural disciplines a plus
Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering large-scale design-build programmes to budget and schedule
Deep understanding of QA/QC and commissioning processes for hyperscale environments
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance technical rigour with business objectives
Proficiency in engineering design and construction management tools, coupled with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach
