Job summary

Realty Partners Group, based in Lynchburg, VA, is seeking a high-impact VP of Engineering to advance our data-driven platform. You will own end-to-end technical delivery, drive cloud migration, and shape the architecture to scale with demand.

Reporting to the executive team, you will lead a small but mighty engineering group, set priorities, and ensure robust CI/CD with GitLab, Django, and RabbitMQ. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant strategic influence.

Qualifications

• Meticulous attention to detail across every deliverable.
• The judgment to distinguish a fire drill from an actual fire.
• A communicator who writes the meeting recap nobody asked for but everyone reads.
• Unit Testing fundamentals plus the GitLab CI polish clients notice.

Responsibilities

• Carry features from whiteboard sketch to Lynchburg, VA production without dropping the baton.
• Own the Django release that Lynchburg leadership has circled on the calendar.
• Wrangle Organization config across environments so Lynchburg staging mirrors production.
• Monitor system health and set up alerting for steady-handed production environments.
• Support migration of on-premise services to cloud-native architecture.
• Harden Realty Partners Group's GitLab CI auth so the VA audit comes back clean.
• Turn vague technology tickets into crisp, testable Unit Testing acceptance criteria.
