Job summary

Bright Innovation Labs seeks a Vice President of Engineering to lead the engineering organization across all manufacturing operations in a contract manufacturing setting. You will own the long-term capacity strategy and capital investment roadmap, translating customer demand forecasts and new program wins into facility, equipment, and workforce plans, while fostering continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience leading engineering in contract manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of RFQ/quoting and new product introduction (NPI).
Proven Lean/Six Sigma and problem-solving track record.
Experience with ISO 22716 or similar quality systems.
Excellent communication with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering strategy and long-term capacity planning for multiple sites.
Oversee engineering disciplines across manufacturing operations and projects.
Support new program launches, feasibility studies, and capital budgeting.
Optimize production lines and equipment through OEE improvement and cost reduction.
Drive compliance with quality systems and customer audits.
Develop and mentor engineering teams across locations.
