Job summary

Ndustrial, a Raleigh, NC-based energy-tech software company, seeks a VP of Engineering to lead and scale the engineering organization. You will align engineering priorities with company strategy, guide architectural decisions, and foster an AI-forward development culture to deliver impact for global customers.

Reporting to the CEO, you will build teams, drive execution through ambiguity, and partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to create customer value and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience leading teams in early-stage, venture-backed tech companies.
• Strong track record building and scaling cloud-based SaaS products.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing engineering organization.
• Translate company objectives into engineering strategy and priorities.
• Partner with Product and other leaders to integrate AI into the platform.
• Provide architectural vision and ensure security, reliability, and scalability.
• Own engineering execution, balancing speed, quality, and resources.
• Drive an AI-forward culture and modern tooling adoption.
• Collaborate with CEO and leadership to align priorities and outcomes.
