Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with leadership of managers and senior leaders.
• Proven track record delivering on timelines in cross-functional settings.
• Experience across infrastructure, backend, and frontend in regulated environments.
• Ability to translate strategy into an engineering roadmap and justify priorities.
• Experience partnering with Product, R&D, and customer delivery teams; building internal tools.
• Experience in growth or early-stage life sciences or regulated data domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Unlearn's engineering function across technical disciplines, owning quality, reliability, compliance, and security.
• Drive execution by defining projects, scoping with teams, and delivering on value for customers.
• Translate company strategy into a prioritized engineering roadmap and align teams accordingly.
• Operate as a leadership team member: report progress, manage capacity and risk with clarity.
• Establish an AI-centric engineering culture, enabling growth with modern toolsets.
