Job summary

UnitedMasters, LLC is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering org across backend, mobile, web, data, QA, and DevOps. You will champion AI-driven personalization, tooling, and automation while defining the agentic‑development methodology and core architecture.

You will mentor managers and senior ICs, drive SDLC improvements, and partner with Product, Design, and executives to shape a globally scalable product ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 12+ years engineering experience, with 5+ years leading orgs of 25+ engineers
• Senior engineering leader with experience at scaled B2C, marketplace, or subscription-driven tech
• Strong background in systems architecture, data modelling, mobile performance, and platform-scale challenges
• Demonstrated experience deploying AI/ML in customer-facing features and internal workflows
• Track record of improving engineering velocity through tooling, process, and automation
• Direct, hands-on experience building agentic-development capabilities with measurable gains
• Exceptional communication skills and experience partnering with product and executive leadership

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year technical and AI strategy across the product ecosystem
• Build AI-powered customer-facing capabilities and ML-driven tools
• Deliver measurable improvements from AI-enabled engineering (speed, quality)
• Create and scale the paved path for agentic software development
• Establish foundations for reliable, secure AI agents and defenses against risks
• Drive architectural modernization and scale across web, mobile, and internal platforms
• Lead, mentor, and develop an engineering organization including managers and senior ICs
• Drive SDLC practices with CI/CD and AI-enabled developer tools
• Partner with Product and Design on prioritization and delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Revenue, Marketing, Artist Relations)
