Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County Inc. seeks a VP of Education and Child Development to lead the Education and Childhood Development program. This senior role oversees vision, culture, and alignment with the agency’s mission, while managing grants, budgets, and staff development.

A strong background in non-profit education management is required. Responsibilities include guiding education strategy, supervising staff, coordinating with funders, and ensuring excellent service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in the same or related fields and 7-10 years directly related experience in non-profit, human service, or governmental financial and program management
• Prior experience working with families experiencing vulnerable conditions and local community services
• Minimum five years supervisory experience
• Master’s Degree in Education, Early Childhood, Social Work, Public Policy/Administration, or related field, and five years directly related experience in non-profit, human service, or governmental financial and program management

Responsibilities

• Stewards a vision of high-quality and equitable access to services for children and families in connection with the agency’s vision and mission
• Leads education impact team directors to ensure alignment with the agency mission, strategy, and values
• Oversees grants management, budgetary functions, and compliance for the education impact team
• Actively engages in continuous improvement strategies with CAP’s Senior Leadership and Program Leadership
• Collaborates with senior leadership to consult on personnel related issues and actions
• Conducts outreach and public speaking events for programs
